- WR Jerry Porter (hamstring) could play on Sunday
09-18 3:02 amAccording to Jaguars.com, Jaguars WR Jerry Porter is reportedly nearing a full recovery from his July hamstring surgery - The receiver could play on Sunday. "Jerry Porter will practice," coach Jack Del Rio said on Wednesday. "When I have to declare on Friday, I will. When he's ready, we'll play him."
OPINION: Del Rio won't reveal Porter's Week 3 status until Friday's injury report. Even if he practices fully on Friday, Porter is expected to be listed as questionable and could end up being a game-time decision on Sunday. Once back and fully recovered, Porter could become a fantasy WR3.
- WR Braylon Edwards has an injured shoulder?
09-18 2:15 amAccording to Cleveland.com, Browns WR Braylon Edwards apparently has an injured shoulder and was limited during Wednesday's practice.
OPINION: The Browns have said nothing about Edwards' injured wing, but so far it doesn't sound serious. However, monitor this situation all week. We're never going to tell you to bench Edwards, but the Browns have a very difficult match-up this week against the Ravens. It's tough to expect a monster outing. We will keep you posted on the stud's shoulder.
According to Jaguars.com, Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew will see his workload increase in Week 3 against the Colts. "We have to get him the ball more. I agree with him. He's an exciting, dynamic football player. We need to find a way to get him touches," Del Rio said.
OPINION: MJD is one of our top "Trade For 'Em Now" players right now. Check out our latest Player Spotlight on the little guy. His Colts match-up is just what he needs!

- RB Willis McGahee to lose carries looking forward?
09-17 9:17 pmAccording to BaltimoreSun.com, RB Willis McGahee (knee) practiced fully on Wednesday, but coach John Harbaugh still mentioned that he plans to use all of his running backs in games. "We're going to use all of our good players and put them in positions where they do what they do well," Harbaugh said. "So we're going to put our running backs out there and let them play.
OPINION: Be careful when reading other news wires that are spinning this into a RBBC story. For more on this Baltimore running back situation, check out or recent Player Spotlight on McGahee.
According to CarolinaGrowl.com, Panthers coach John Fox still considers DeAngelo Williams the team's starting running back, even though the team counted on rookie RB Jonathan Stewart in the fourth quarter in Week 2. "In my mind both backs are of starter ability and right now DeAngelo (Williams) as I see moving forward is the starter," Fox said. "Jonathan Stewart, again, we are just easing him back into it. He hasn't had a lot of plays, and I think he'll continue to improve and we'll go as we are right now."
OPINION: From a fantasy perspective, Jonathan Stewart is the starter. Not actually being handed the keys to the starting line-up could end up being a good thing this week, as the Panthers face the Vikings and you don't want his first "official" start to be against that rushing defense. Between the two, Stewart is still the better Week 3 start and we expect the rookie to officially get the starting nod in Week 4 or 5 - Once the job is his, Stewart has top 10RB written all over him.

- RB Michael Turner not on Week 3 injury report
09-17 9:04 pmFalcons RB Michael Turner is not on the team's Week 3 injury report.
OPINION: Turner should have quite a day at home against the Chiefs on Sunday. That awful K.C. rushing defense just gave up 164 rushing yards (7.8) and 1TD to Darren McFadden in Week 2. In the same contest, Michael Bush still managed to to rush for 90 yards and a score.

- RB Ronnie Brown running with first-team in practice
09-17 1:26 pmAccording to PalmBeachPost.com, Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown lined up with the first-team offense today.
OPINION: Brown should get stronger as the season moves along. With Ricky's injury history, Brown is clearly the guy to own looking forward. We're not saying things can't change, but for now it is Brown that looks like the guy to own down the stretch.
